He’s one of the few NFPA Certified Wildfire Mitigation Specialists in the Four Corners Region.
He created the 59 point Comprehensive Wildfire Risk Assessment. This is a paid service that Homeowners and Homebuyers use to assess a properties vulnerabilities and provide solutions.
Terry has been asked to make presentations to the La Plata County Wildfire Advisory Board, State Farm Insurance, Mortgage Companies and he teaches a certified continuing education course for the Durango Area Association of Realtors concerning wildfires, mitigation and insurance in fire risk areas. Recently, he’s been contracted by the Town of Mountain Village - Telluride to perform assessments on commercial and residential properties for the Town.
